About & Submission Policy

Manifest23 is a web directory structured around editorial desks. Each of the 22 desks covers a named beat — from Health & Medical Wire to the Open Web Dispatch — and every listed site is filed under the desk that fits its content.

The directory began as a straightforward index: one editor, one list, one page per desk. Over time the file grew to 834 active listings, added source by source as operators submitted their sites and editors reviewed the details. The process has not changed: submit, review, publish.

Manifest23 does not charge for a listing. Any site in good standing may submit, regardless of size or jurisdiction. The directory covers a wide range of subjects — from dentistry and property to sports wagering and arts — because the web itself covers a wide range.

Each desk displays a guide explaining what qualifies for a listing in that section and a count of current entries. Editors aim to keep each desk current: submissions that pass review are added to the live index, and sources that go dark are eventually removed.

The directory is independent and carries no affiliation to any listed source. Manifest23 does not endorse the content of any site in its index — it records that a site exists and files it in the appropriate desk.
